Celebrating Academic Excellence: Class of 2024 Achieves Outstanding IB Results

Record-Breaking Achievements
This year, we celebrate our highest-ever IB score of 44 points, achieved by our Valedictorian, Maya G., a near-perfect result achieved by less than 1% of IB candidates worldwide. Additionally, our second-highest score was an impressive 43 points, earned by our Salutatorian (student with the second-highest academic rank in the graduating class), Bibek A., underscoring the exceptional performance of our students.

Above Average Performance
MET students continue to outperform the global averages, demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence:

• MET Average Score: Our students achieved an extraordinary average score of 32 points, above the global average of 30.32 points. This remarkable achievement highlights the exceptional academic capabilities and determination of our students.
• MET Diploma Pass Rate: We are thrilled to announce a remarkable diploma pass rate of 85.4%, showcasing the success of our rigorous academic program.
• MET Average Subject Score: 5.02, showcasing the high level of understanding and mastery our students possess.

A Proud Member of the Global Community
As part of the worldwide Nord Anglia Education network, nearly 2,000 students sat for IB exams this year, including 56 students who sat at least one exam and 45 students for the full IB diploma from the MET. Our students' achievements reflect the collective effort of our community to provide a nurturing and challenging academic environment.

Highlighting Exceptional Performances
Top Performers: MET students earning an IB diploma significantly outperform the worldwide average, with 3 students earning 40+ points and 7 students earning 35+ points, demonstrating their academic excellence.

High Achievers: Over 30 students earned a 6 or above in their Higher-Level courses, reflecting their dedication and superior understanding of the subjects.

Consistent Excellence Across Nord Anglia Education
Nord Anglia’s IB students achieved an average diploma score of 34 points (2022/23: 33 points), surpassing the global IBDP average by almost four points. This year’s impressive results mark the 11th consecutive year that Nord Anglia’s students have exceeded the global IBDP point average, highlighting our long-standing tradition of academic excellence.

We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements in the 2024 IB exams. Their success is a testament to their hard work, the support of their families, and the dedication of our faculty.
