GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED ACADEMICS

OUR INVESTMENT IN HIGH-QUALITY TEACHING

The MET's many accreditations and associations, both local and global — from the IBO to the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) — show that our educational leadership team is always evaluating and reflecting on our teaching practices, so our teachers can deliver our absolute best.

Across all areas of our academics, we review every aspect of our IB programs, including the philosophy, curriculum, staff training, and physical building. During every five-year comprehensive review with the IBO, for example, we continually build upon our highly successful program. And because our teaching practices follow the best accreditations and associations in the world, our students go on to graduate with a highly respected combination of a Panamanian diploma, US High School Diploma, and IB Diploma.

“The people are the best part of the MET. I’ve cherished the relationships I’d made with my classmates and teachers — these strong bonds have made them feel like family. My teachers really cared about my well-being, and I attribute many of my successes today to their continual guidance and support during those instrumental years.”

“At the MET, I learned relevant ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ skills and was immersed in an exciting international environment from a young age. This was the best foundation I could’ve asked for, as it’s prepared me well for university and the changing world that we live in.”

“Upon visiting the MET, what I found made me decide to change schools almost instantly. Classes were no longer traditional, and instead of memorization, we focused on analysis, international mindedness, discussion, respect, and kindness — things that deeply matter to me.”
