One-Time Payment
A One-Time Admission Payment of $12,000 is due upon acceptance of the child and is a prerequisite for enrollment.
Payment methods:
- Those who pay the One-Time Payment in one installment will receive a $500.00 discount.
- Students entering Early Childhood 3 or Early Childhood 4 may delay the One-Time Admission Payment until Kinder and in three installments. The first payment is due upon acceptance to Kinder and the following two payments are due upon entry to the consecutive grades (G1 and G2).
- Students entering Kinder - 10th Grade may pay the One-Time Payment in two installments. The first payment is due upon acceptance and the following payment is due 12 months after the acceptance date.
- New students entering in 11th and 12th Grade (IBDP) are only required to pay half of the One-Time Payment, due upon enrollment.
Annual Enrollment Fee
The Annual Enrollment Fee includes a Registration and Technology component.
Access, use, maintenance and technical support of all technology devices in the school is covered by this fee. This includes, but is not limited to the digital interactive boards, individual and shared devices, equipment in laboratories, digital academic subscriptions, digital research databases, educational applications, etc.
Tuition Payment
Sponsored families are families whose company covers their employee's school fees.
There are two payment methods:
- One single payment, due no later than July 15, 2024.
- Three installments, equivalent to the three academic trimesters, payable before the beginning of each trimester.
First Trimester: August 2, 2024
Second Trimester: November 11, 2024
Third Trimester: March 11, 2025
The MET offers a 5% discount on tuition for a 3rd child, and a 10% for a 4th child.
Please note that any late payments are subject to a ten percent (10%) surcharge of the amount owed.

Other Fees
In addition to the school's tuition fees there are other fees that may be applicable throughout the school year.
Other fees may include:
- English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Exceptional Education Program (EEP)
- Transportation Services
- IB Diploma Program fees (11th and 12th Grade)
- Extra-curricular activities (ECAs) and field trips
- Athletics Program
- Passport Adventures Camps
- Summer Camp
EAL and EEP Programs
Students may be required to enroll in the EAL and/or EEP programs. In such cases, additional fees will apply.
IB Diploma Program
IB Diploma Program registration and examination fees are payable upon registration and re-enrollment. Optional online Diploma Program courses will be charged separately.
Bus Transportation
The Metropolitan School of Panama offers transportation services to all students living in Panama City.
