At the MET, our teachers know that the most enriching academic experience for young learners comes from a stimulating and caring environment — and they cultivate a community of mutual respect, recognition, and understanding, so that our youngest learners feel safe, encouraged to explore, and empowered to make meaningful connections between themselves and the world around them.
Our classes are small, and each have an internationally certificated teacher and teacher’s assistant. In this close-knit environment, our students feel comfortable, warm, and safe. With many opportunities for individualized instruction, our students benefit from close attention tailored to their needs and interests. This is complemented by hands-on learning and meaningful language and social development.
Our teachers show the overarching belief that young children learn best through guided play, exploration, experimentation, and investigation that they lead themselves. To support our students’ growth, we have open-plan classrooms in Early Childhood with different areas for students to learn both independently and collaboratively.
