Early Years children have learned the ancient poem "Youzi Yin” (The Song of Parting Son), which helped them to experience the love of mothers. Through reading and singing aloud, children were able to feel the respect and love expressed by the poet for his mother.

Year 3 children non-native class have learned about the topic of Stationery. Through the activities of making stationery shops, children have consolidated their vocabulary and short conversations about buying stationery in shops. This is one of their favorite ways to improve their practical Chinese language skills.
Y4 children in native groups have participated in a hard-tipped pen calligraphy competition and some children have won excellence awards and certificates issued from Primary Chinese Department. They were very proud of it.
Year 5 children in native groups have studied the Modern Poetry Unit and they’ve tried to create their own modern poems through their imagination. They’ve done a brilliant job.
Year 6 Set2 children have learned the topic of Night Market. They have shown interest in learning the vocabulary of different stalls at Night Market and they’ve created their own market in class. Set 3 children have written their own essays about "My Home is a Zoo", which stimulated the children's imagination and creativity well.
We are very pleased to see that children can maintain their enthusiasm for Chinese learning through the enjoyable class activities. We are hoping that they would feel more confident in speaking Chinese and achieve a lot by the end of the school year.
