Lunar New Year Celebration at BSB 2025

Watch a video highlight of our BSB Shunyi Temple Fair on 22nd January as we celebrate the upcoming New Year of the Snake!  Students greatly enjoyed traditional Spring Festival games and food sampling organised by our teachers and parent volunteers. We have also invited some folk artists to come and demonstrate traditional crafts such as Sichuan changing faces, calligraphy, sugar painting, guessing lantern riddles, writing couplets and paper cutting. We also encourage students to wear traditional New Year costumes to better integrate into the festive atmosphere. 

Our school provides many opportunities throughout the school year for students to showcase their talents on the stage. We are amazed by variety of performances including kung fu, poetry recitations, songs, folk dance, just to name a few. The students have spent a lot of time rehearsing for their programme and they were awesome! A big Thank You to the Chinese Department for organising this lovely event to celebrate Spring Festival!
