Dinner Dance

3

We would like to thank all the sponsors and especially, our diamond partner, Synergy who are supporting this year’s Dinner Dance.  The evening promises to be full of excitement with a caricaturist, chess games, live and silent auctions, and our extensive Raffle.  Last but not least the world renowned Just Showband!  This event is a wonderful occasion for our community to get-together and at the same time do good for those less fortunate. We look forward to celebrating with those who are coming!  Look out for the Raffle Tickets on sale at our ticket desk for an opportunity to win some amazing prizes!

A Heartwarming Celebration of Books at Primary School!

2

Last week, our primary school was filled with excitement as we celebrated Book Week! The Book Sale, designed to spark the love of reading among our students. The event was focused on encouraging them to read, with a twist—each student had to answer an age-appropriate questionnaire tailored to their year group in order to earn a book of their choice. It was absolutely heartwarming to see the enthusiasm with which the children tackled their questions!

To ensure the books were suitable for their reading level, we carefully selected Early Years and Junior reading books. A big thank you goes to all the wonderful volunteers who helped in curating these books and organizing the sale. Your support truly made the event a success!

As we look ahead, we’re excited to share that a weekly questionnaire (first series will be shared on Fri, 21st March) will be included in future newsletters. This will follow the same process: any child who answers the questions correctly will have the chance to select a book of their choice at the Summer Fayre!

We’ve attached some pictures from the event and the questionnaires for you to take a look at. Could you have answered these questions during your primary school years? We can’t wait to see more smiles and growing readers at our future events!

Thank you for your continued support!

Warmly,

PreLoved Book Sale Team

Students Junior Changemakers Need Your Help!

Volunteer to Sort Donated Clothes

The students would be very grateful if any parent volunteers could assist tehm at sorting the donated clothes on the 25th (Tuesday) 26th, (Wednesday) and the 27th (Thursday) of March. It will be from 12:00-13:00. Four or five volunteers would be fantastic! There will be students to help as well. If any parents could help for the whole hour each day, that would be wonderful!!!

Thanks a lot!!!!!!
