International Women's Day

Women's day
In honor of International Women's Day, students in Year 8 and 11 in the French class, researched and presented women who made a difference in their home country.

The students were tasked with researching and creating a poster about a woman who had a significant impact in their country, whether it be in politics, science, or the arts. The posters were then presented in front of the class.

The project not only highlighted the achievements of women from around the world, but also allowed students to learn more about different cultures and histories. It was a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

The presentations were engaging and informative, with students showcasing their creativity and hard work. From Maria Tekles in Hungary to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in Nigeria, the students highlighted a diverse range of inspiring women.

Overall, the project was a great success and a fitting tribute to the many women who have made a difference both at home and abroad. As we continue to celebrate and recognize the achievements of women around the world, it’s important to remember that we all have the power to make a difference.
