Global Campus Sports Challenge

News Detail - Global Campus Sports Challenge

Following on from the extremely successful 'Walk to Work/School' Week before the break, BISB has signed up for the Global Campus Sports Challenge. The idea is for all our school communities worldwide to come together and attempt to navigate the globe!Students/parents/teachers will be able to log their kilometres/miles in an effort to travel virtually around the world with stop-offs at all Nord Anglia schools. All distances covered will count whether overland, up/down mountains or under water!

You and your children can get involved in a variety of ways.

News Detail - Global Campus Sports Challenge

Here are just some examples of how everyone can contribute:

  • Walk to school initiatives
  • Sports training
  • PE lessons
  • School sports fixtures
  • Swimming sessions
  • Trail running clubs
  • Skiing holidays
  • Family walks
  • Family hikes
  • Family bike rides

We will have until the end of November to log as many miles/kilometres as possible. As long as the kilometres/miles are logged, they will count! So, throughout October/November, I would encourage you and your children to make a note of any distances you cover doing any form of exercise. Any photos of any activities being enjoyed would also be very welcome!! From next week, you will be able to log all distances covered with me! Watch out for more info as to how to log your miles/kilometres!

Have a great weekend!
