We are learning all about the potential of life on Mars in our IPC unit and this exhibition was so relevant. The children were able to find out about the history of space exploration and Mars landings. Over 200 exhibits of items that had actually been into space were on display (including from Poland), along with models of spaceships, shuttles and rockets. We would definitely recommend this exhibition to everyone!
Year 5's new IPC topic is Mission to Mars. To check that all the students are ready for this topic they were challenged to a gruelling mission of their own: to produce an application video for the chance to board the first manned landing on Mars! About an hour later, we had many submissions demonstrating their aerobic stamina, strength, agility, speed, and hand-eye coordination. This was finished off with an explanation of why they should be chosen as a recruit for the mission! It will be a mission impossible choosing the deserving applicants!

Last week, we traveled as a group of Year 10-12 students to Tanzania for nine days. It was a remarkable and enlightening experience that created a significant impact on our lives. We have helped to improve the lives of the less fortunate and create better opportunities for them.
