Dear Parents,

Dear Parents,
Last Saturday was a fun-filled, activity day for our community and was a clear reminder of pre-COVID times here at The British School Warsaw.
Approximately 110 children took part in the healthy sports competitions held on the football pitch and in our sports halls, supported in their competitions by dedicated and appreciative parents. This ran in parallel to our Saturday Community Connections Club which was very well attended by our new Ukrainian friends and their host families. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our TBS staff for giving so willingly of their time and energy to make these Saturday events come to life. I would also like to say how proud I am of our secondary students who volunteered their time to translate, organize games and set out donations; the activities were really enhanced through their hard work and enthusiasm.
The great news in that our Community Connections Club will run once again this week. Please contact Kevin Halpin at kevin.halpin@thebritishschool.pl if you would like further information. The PE team are also considering further competitions for students to get involved in.
Earlier this academic year, I informed our community of our quest to introduce a new uniform during the next school year and we are now ready to share what this looks like! Please click here to see the new items for primary and secondary HERE. The new uniform combines the Nord Anglia colours with quality and ease of ordering. As the new uniform will only be available for purchase over the summer holidays, we will have a transition period during Term 1 where both the new and the old uniforms will be permissible. From Term 2 next year, all students will be expected to have the new uniform.
As we look forward to spring and summer (although the freshly fallen snow makes this hard to believe!) we are excited to be planning new trips and activities for students. The annual Green Camps for students in Year 5 to Year 13 are in our calendar for June and further details will follow before the Easter holidays.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend,
SUE HILL
