SISD students to compete in World School Games

As a leading IB World School in Dubai, we place a high value on driving sports interest in our students. By providing our students with some of the finest facilities in the Middle East, they can pursue their sporting interests even further. 

This year, we are proudly making our debut participation in the prestigious World School Games, taking place across multiple Dubai venues, including The Hamdan Sports Complex, Dubai Police Officers Stadium, and ISD Sports City. This event poses as a significant milestone for Swiss International Scientific School Dubai (SISD), as students prepare to showcase their athletic abilities and embody SISD’s commitment to holistic development.

Over the course of three days, SISD students will compete against schools from around the world in swimming, football and athletics. In previous editions, students from nations such as United Kingdom, Russia, Greece, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates have showcased their talents on this international stage.

This participation aligns with SISD’s broader vision of promoting both academic and extracurricular excellence. In addition to offering rigorous International Baccalaureate programmes, SISD recently introduced the region’s first BTEC pathway in Sport, Business, and Management, giving students a career-focused education with state-of-the-art sports facilities.
