Class of 2025 Secures Over $10 Million in University Scholarships

Our graduating class of 2025 has set the bar by securing over $10 million so far in university scholarships, marking a record-breaking milestone for SISD.

This remarkable achievement highlights SISD’s dedication to academic excellence, university readiness, and the distinctive benefits of its bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

We are well known for our multilingual and innovative academic approach, and we remain committed to supporting and nurturing exceptional students who are highly sought after by top universities around the world.

This year’s graduating class have received offers from renowned universities across the UK, Europe, UAE, North America, and beyond. The success of these students not only reflects their academic dedication and determination, but also the exceptional support provided by SISD’s expert university counselling team.

“At SISD, we are incredibly proud of our students’ remarkable achievements and the dedication they have shown throughout their IB journey,” said Rhiana Courlander, University and Careers Guidance Counsellor at SISD.

Notably, 100% of SISD applicants to Scotland’s prestigious University of St. Andrews have received offers, and 93% of UK university applications have resulted in acceptances. This includes multiple acceptances into Russel Group universities, including; King’s College London, Warwick, Durham, Manchester and UCL.

SISD's boarding students have thrived, with numerous receiving significant scholarship offers, amounting to a total of $1.6 million. Several of these students first enrolled at SISD on bursaries, taking advantage of the continuous academic support provided in the school's boarding houses. Their success highlights the strength of the SISD boarding programme in nurturing talent and ambition.
