The range of activities within the boarding school at SISD is exceptional. As a result, we believe our boarding students truly do enjoy the best of both the academic and residential worlds. Whilst they can enjoy the variety of activities provided by the school, the boarding experience also provides students with an extensive programme that boarders can take advantage of during the week and at the weekend.
Each evening, there is always a boarding activity available which the students can opt to participate in. Homework and structured study time are planned into each weekday, and our team of academic tutors ensures our students receive the best possible educational support.
Our aim is to provide students with different interests varying activities in which to participate, and our dedicated boarding team ensures there are always options each evening, with something for everyone. Our communal lounge is also a relaxing place for students to socialise, play games relax, play the piano, enjoy a game of table tennis or pool, or just watch TV.
Living in one of the most exciting and dynamic cities in the world gives us the opportunity to provide an array of organised trips and activities for students, offering unique experiences that are both memorable and immersive.
The trips include visits to Dubai’s beaches, waterparks, and theme parks, as well as the city’s many malls. Students also enjoy a wide range of cultural activities, highlighting the diverse experiences within Dubai and the UAE. These have included desert safaris, culinary courses, hiking through the UAE mountains, and exploring the oldest abra boats in Dubai’s Old Town.
