Students at Prague British International School, which is part of the global Nord Anglia Education family of schools, are celebrating today after receiving their long-awaited IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) results. Our students’ incredible achievements in this special year have created an amazing atmosphere across our school as we celebrate their successes.
All students achieved in their IGCSE'S with 76% gaining at least 5A*- C's which is an impressive 20% increase on our 2019 results. Additionally, 16% of the students achieved 7 or more IGCSE'S at grades A* - A. Exceptional performances from 3 of our students who have secured 9A*-As; this is a remarkable achievement.
Students performed well across all subjects and particularly in English. Students recorded 92% pass rate of C or higher for both first and second language demonstrating how hard we work with all students to command the language and fully access the learning opportunities at PBIS.

Come on, it’s not rocket science. For some people it is! A 2022 graduate from PBIS, Ilyes is currently working on his bachelor's degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, physics, and computer science at Sorbonne University in Paris. Apart from his academic work, he’s also working on a modest side project: developing a jet engine. His approach, in his own words, is to “learn as much as possible about everything” so he can apply his knowledge to real-world situations and make the world a smarter, better place.
