Welcome to Metropolitan School of Panama's Summer Camp! Discover a unique opportunity for children ages 3 to 13 to learn, explore, and have fun in an exciting and enriching environment. Our camp ensures children are entertained, make new friends, and have fun!

Welcome to Camp Corotú

At Camp Corotú, each week is a celebration filled with activities that promote thinking, social interaction, research, and communication skills. Our goal is to provide a balanced and varied schedule for campers. This is where they can have fun, learn new things, meet new people, and embrace their courageous spirit. They can also participate in both indoor and outdoor activities.  

Join us for weekly programs at the MET Campus in Green Valley. The camp runs for four weeks, and students have the flexibility to sign up for one week or more. We welcome non-MET students as well!

Designed for young explorers aged 3-13, Camp Corotú delivers unforgettable learning experiences packed with discovery and excitement:  

1. Camp Themes: Prepare to join us on a new adventure week by week as we explore the wonders of Nature, Space, Science, Art and Sports. From different outdoor activities to engaging indoor workshops, there's something for everyone!  

2. Dates: Join us from Mid June to Mid July, from 8:00am-2:00pm (Monday - Friday) for an action-packed summer of exploration and discovery!  

3. Activities: Dive into a world of creativity with arts and crafts, unleash your inner athlete with diverse sports, discover exciting outdoor adventures, and introduce your little one to robotics with the LEGO® WeDo 2.0 and LEGO® Mindstorms® Educational kits. Let their imaginations soar with themed weeks and special events!

4. Expert Guidance: Our experienced counselors and instructors are dedicated to ensuring a safe and enriching experience for every camper, providing guidance, support, and lots of laughter along the way!  

5. Age-Appropriate Programs: With designed activities for different age groups, from our Little Explorers (ages 3-5), our Young Discoverers (ages 6-8) to our Adventure Seekers (ages 9-13), your child will find the perfect mix of challenges and fun!  

6.Special Surprises: Wait for surprise guests, themed parties, and exciting field trips throughout our Camp Corotú—because at the MET, every day is a new adventure!  

Camp Corotú Registration

Camp Corotú runs for four weeks. This includes:  

EngagE in Daily Activities

  • STEAM Challenges
    Campers will collaborate with their peers to tackle thrilling STEAM challenges and achieve common goals.
  • Movement and Games
    Our carefully selected camp activities improve gross motor skills, build confidence, and develop a courageous spirit. Campers will enjoy relay races, obstacle courses, and other fun games.
  • Experiments
    Your child will have the opportunity to test and experiment with different materials, allowing them to grasp chemistry and physics fundamentals.
  • Group Challenges and Spirit Day
    Through group dynamics, your child will develop collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Field Trips
    Campers will embark on weekly thematic field trips to explore the vibrant city of Panama! Transport to and from each field trip is included with registration and is supervised by our experienced camp leaders.
  • Art
    Campers will delve into the world of color, textures, and techniques to express their creativity and create unique art pieces.
  • Bike Club
    Our engaging teachers will provide biking activities and games suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
  • Foam Party
    Every week is a time for a party where campers can jump on inflatables and enjoy a fun-filled time with foam raining down! 
  • Thrilling activities
    Each week, campers will experience thrilling activities such as bow and arrow and wall climbing. These activities encourage children to embrace their courageous spirits.
  • Cooking
    Campers will learn easy and delicious recipes, preparing them themselves and enjoying the tasty results. Let's make pizza, ice cream, fruit popsicles, and cookies!
  • Sports
    Campers will have a blast participating in various sports, including soccer, basketball, dodgeball, flag football, badminton, swimming, and more.
  • Aquatic Games
    Every day, campers will visit the pool and engage in fun games that develop their swimming skills.
  • Bike School
    Qualified teachers will support campers as they enjoy skating, catering to all skill levels and ensuring a safe and exciting experience.
