The Metropolitan School of Panama officially began the construction of its new site in Green Valley, an eco-city situated in Panama Norte, a vital point of growth and development in Panama.
In January 2018 the MET held its groundbreaking ceremony at Green Valley. In attendance were the CEO and representatives of Nord Anglia Education, the school founders, directors, parents and students.
"The Metropolitan School's new campus will be built on 5.7 hectares of land and will have the best educational facilities in Panama. These facilities will be the first in Panama to incorporate new global tendencies in XXI century education and the building itself will be a tool for learning for our students", said Jorge I. Conte, MET founding member. "These new facilities will be a complement to continue offering the highest standards of education in Panama and in the region."
October marks the beginning of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This year, we joined the global initiative, highlighting the theme "Data Privacy: Protect Yourself." In this article, we'll explore the significance of this annual event, the MET’s commitment to digital safety, and how we're empowering our Elementary and Secondary students to be responsible, mindful, and informed digital citizens.
