WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
At the Metropolitan School of Panama, we offer an outstanding academic experience as the first school in Panama to provide the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, including the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. Our curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual rigor, with a diverse range of subjects, including sciences, humanities, arts, and mathematics. Students engage in inquiry-based learning, developing problem-solving and analytical skills to prepare them for future success.
From Early Childhood through to Grade 12, our approach prioritizes both academic achievement and personal development. In the early years, we focus on nurturing curiosity and creativity, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. As students advance, they are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, explore complex concepts, and develop leadership and collaborative skills.
Outside the classroom, students enjoy a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including athletics, performing arts, community service, and international experiences. These activities help build character, resilience, and a sense of social responsibility.
Our well-rounded educational approach develops globally minded individuals with strong values, ready to make a positive impact on the world. Graduates of the Metropolitan School of Panama consistently gain admission to top universities around the world, equipped with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a competitive, interconnected global environment.
