Our Year 4 students had an unforgettable adventure at St John’s Island. This exciting overnight trip was packed with nature exploration and opportunities to learn new skills.
During the trip, the students participated in a variety of engaging activities, including building shelters, starting fires, and even constructing rafts. These hands-on experiences allowed them to discover the great outdoors while developing teamwork and leadership skills.
One of the highlights of the trip was the thrilling night walk, where students explored the island and the night was further enhanced by the delicious experience of toasting marshmallows by the campfire, creating sweet memories that will last a lifetime. This trip marked our students’ first off-site residential experience, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they embraced the challenges.
It was a fantastic opportunity for them to connect with nature, work together as a team, and face new challenges in a supportive environment.
