Our Dover Court International Year 12 students studying IB Biology and the Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) courses had the opportunity to study rainforest and intertidal ecosystems, whilst the remaining followed an engaging experiential programme in Tioman Island.
Over one of the hottest weekends of the year, 40 Dover Court students across Years 9 and 10 braved the wilds of Pulau Ubin fortheir Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Adventurous Journey. This challenging experience was the culmination of weeks of preparation, including a practice trip in March – and was a resounding success!
Our Year 5 Dover Court students linked their learnings to English and IPC units of work on 'The Explorer', including raft building and survival skills on a three-day, two-night Residential trip to CSC Loyang, Pasir Ris.
24 students performed admirably at the U11 2023 Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) Games, winning a total of 57 medals throughout the week from 9 – 13 May in Pattana Sports Resort. The tournament concluded with impressive relay performances, resulting in an overall third-place finish in Athletics!
Learning new survival skills, toasting marshmallows over fire, exploring the mangroves, playing in the pool and participating in the Park Olympics were among the many activities enjoyed by during the recent Year 4 Residential Trip.
Our Dover Court International School (DCIS) Year 3 students had their first Residential Trip on 4th -5th May. Studentshad the chance to experience independence in a supportive environment, have fun and enjoy their first sleepover on campus!
