Dear BSB students and parents,
I am delighted to announce that the annual NAE Virtual Young Musician of the Year competition is back again on Global Campus! We had many BSB students participate in both the 2020 and 2021 competitions, and I hope that we will see the same level of enthusiasm in this new session from our talented young musicians. Students can submit entries performing on any instrument including voice either as a solo or in a group as well as compositions.

For each competition, there will be 1st and 2nd place awards for these age groups: 7-9, 10-14 and 15-19. Please note that students must be 7 years old to participate.
More details and previous winners can be found on the Global Campus website: https://globalcampus.nae.school/course/view.php?id=918
It is strongly recommended that you share your entry with your music teacher to check that all criteria have been met before submitting. Please note that the Music Department can only offer help and feedback for submissions sent by 21st January. It is best to be organised and send the video earlier.
The competition closes on Global Campus on 25th January and results will be posted the week of 8th March.
If your child is interested in participating, the first step is to read all the information on the Global Campus website.
I hope to see many entries again this year from our amazing young musicians at BSB!
Kind Regards,
Haley Clark
Director of Performing Arts
