Our school has always fostered close relationships with our parents. We're welcoming and open in our approach, believing that a successful education depends on strong relationships between school and home.
Parent-Teacher Association
Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an enthusiastic, welcoming group of parents who organise activities and events that celebrate our school community. They're run by an elected committee of parents, but every parent automatically becomes a member of the PTA as soon as their child joins our school.
The goal of our PTA is to build bridges with our community; enhance our students' education through social activities and fundraising initiatives; and provide assistance to the school at the discretion of the teaching staff. Through our PTA's commitment, we build links between the school and our local community, across Hungary, and in various locations around the world, for example Tanzania.
Major events organised by the PTA include:
- Orientation Day: a brilliant day out organised for new parents, helping them to discover and explore the city, and encouraging their smooth and swift integration into our community.
- International Food Court: parents contribute by making a traditional dish from their home country to celebrate the diversity of our school.
- Christmas Fair: a community event with live reindeer and a variety of stalls run by students, staff, and parents, with all proceeds going to our school charities.
- Charity Gala
