Back to School Sustainable Uniform Exchange/Sale Series

Congratulations on making the first day of our Back to School Sustainable Uniform Sale series the most successful Sale to date. We served more customers, recirculated more uniform and raised more revenue in one day than we have at any of the previous two day Sales series.

We also had an overwhelming response to our collection period. 103 families donated their outgrown uniform in exchange for shopping vouchers which is almost three times as many families as any sale in the past. Thank you for joining our movement!

Partially in response to so much uniform, we have postponed the second day of our Sale series in order to process the remaining uniform that we couldn’t store before this Sale. The new date is one week later, 19th September at 15.00. Sale opens strictly at 15.00. We will have fresh, replacement inventory for most of the items that sold out at the Sale on the 10th.

In the meantime, here are some top line results from Tuesday’s sale:

We served just over 120 customers, took in 801,000HUF in direct uniform sales and we recirculated 136kg of school uniform! That is the equivalent of 229 primary uniform saved from landfills OR the CO2 equivalent of 33 cars not driving to School for one day!

Well done, BISB!

Come join our growing movement on 19th September at 3 o’clock!
