We are incredibly delighted to share a remarkable sporting achievement of our Year 13 student, Elena. She is the proud winner of the Hungarian and Open categories at the 35th Hungarian Open Junior Golf Championship, making her the 2024 Hungarian Women's Golf Champion.
A great success story, making both her school BISB and country proud. We congratulate Elena on behalf of the entire BISB community for her stellar victory. It’s also a testimony to how BISB students excel in fields beyond academic excellence, be it sport, the creative and performing arts, debates, and creating social impact. BISB are proud of the skills and values we instill in our pupils, making them ready for successful futures ahead.
As a member of the Hungarian National Golf team, Elena is ranked 2nd in the Overall / Total Women's category and 1st in the Junior Girl's category.
With this brilliant performance under her belt, Elena has qualified for the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) list and the Junior Orange Bowl - to be held in January 2025 in USA along with other National champions.
