Senior Changemakers: A Transformative 2023-2024 Year in Review

This year has been very productive and prosperous for Senior Changemakers. After implementing monthly newsletter articles informing the school community about updates in this CCA, we have worked hard on continuing, finishing, and creating new projects.

• the uniform exchange sale team has optimised inventories and successfully collaborated with the PTA on initiatives
• the rewilding team has cooperated with Mini Changemakers on gardening projects
• the first Eco Shop concluded with huge successes after selling almost all upcycled products at the sustainable Winter Fair
• the second Eco Shop at the International Family Day Fair where we gave away almost all hand-made plastic bottle plant pots with animal shapes and designs was a fruitful venture as well
• the E-mobility team has finalised their project that aims to give easy access for people who travel via electric vehicles by providing electric charging stations
• we have also initiated side projects such as plant bulb donations and biodegradable soap and detergent sales
• we are now planning projects and initiatives for next school year

In summary, our CCA has been a rewarding and enriching experience this year. We want to thank all teachers, parents, staff and students who have helped make our plans and ideas possible. We hope that we have conveyed our positive impact on the school community through ecological and environmental projects to you, and hope that you have enjoyed and engaged with them as much as we did! We are confident that we will continue to build on our successes and overcome any challenges that come our way. Here's to another fantastic year ahead!
