World Children's Day
World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children. The 20th of November marks the publishing and adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, also known as the UNCRC. At BISB, we are dedicated to teach children about their rights and the UNCRC. This also links in with our mission to achieve the Gold level of the Social Impact Distinction early next year. We will celebrate World Children's Day with lots of different activities in school throughout next week, and we will also have a 'dress up in blue' day on Wednesday to raise awareness to children's rights.
