Starting from the first day of March until the end of Term 2, MUSE will organize an exciting creative writing competition that you wouldn't want to miss out on! The winner of the competition will get their piece of writing published in the prestigious MUSE magazine, receive 20 house points, and even get a free copy of the magazine featuring their work. Don't worry, even the second and third-place entries will get published, but they won't receive the 20 house points or the free copy.
The entries will be evaluated by the professional MUSE team, who will assess everything fairly. You can submit anything, from haikus or poems to artwork, flash fiction, and short stories, as long as it relates to the general theme of "Lost in Time", which means having your work based on an event or period which happened in a time so long ago that it has been completely forgotten or lost to history. This means that you can base your work on anything you like, although it does have to be fact-based; no creating anything that doesn't exist in the real world.
Stories told to you by family members, or really anyone, are also welcome. Submitting your work could never have been easier - you can upload your writing to the designated Firefly task, or you could send it directly to Ms Walsh at reoghan.walsh@bisb.hu. So what are you waiting for? Start writing now to have a chance to earn fame and recognition for your amazing writing skills!

We’re delighted to announce yet another year of exceptional results in the IB Diploma Programme. Congratulations to our outstanding Class of 2024, our largest IB cohort, for their remarkable dedication and achievements.
Year 12 have been spending a lot of time in Sports Hall One over the last week. Not doing sport, although they could tell you the science behind it…
There was a fun packed programme for the secondary students remaining on-site, which followed the 5 Co-Curricular strands. Students were immersed in languages, film-making, STEAM activities and cooking. They learned about children's rights and advocacy, and showed their creative talents through artwork. They hiked in the hills and formed friendships across year groups. See the Firefly page for further details and photographs
It has been a very memorable end of the primary journey for our Year 6 students. This last week of term has been jam packed. On Monday and Tuesday, the students performed the end of year production of ‘Olivia’, on Tuesday morning, there was a year group water fight and on Wednesday afternoon, they finally graduated with a special ceremony.
