The end of the year is always a special time, as it fills not only our hearts but also our kitchens with the warmth of Christmas. In our school kitchen, we strive to emphasize preserving and bringing traditional Christmas flavours to life during the festive season. That's why we include dishes and desserts on our menu that are closely tied to the holiday spirit. As always, we aim to consider everyone's needs and dietary restrictions, ensuring everyone can enjoy the festive experience.
It's essential, however, to remember the principles of healthy eating even during the holidays. While the table may be laden with various delectable dishes, let's not forget that moderation is one of the greatest gifts we can give our bodies. It's worth putting together a thoughtful holiday menu at home: alongside traditional dishes, don't hesitate to try something new that can make the festive meals more colourful and lighter. This could be a lighter salad, a refreshing fruit-based dessert, or even a dish with special seasonings to bring new flavours.
As we near the end of the year, thank you for following our articles and joining us on this shared culinary journey. We hope we've been able to provide helpful advice and inspiration, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
We wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and a New Year rich in health and happiness!
