Another exciting week of Christmas Chemistry from the advent calendar in the Science department. Monday brought us more sweetness from Cranberries, and Tuesday took us to the Middle East with the scent of frankincense. Wednesday’s Orange Peel Flame Thrower needs to be treated carefully and only under adult supervision! The final two days of the school week gave us the favourites of Holly & Ivy, with Friday showing us a magic trick with a candle. Christmas crackers and chestnuts were the weekend topics.

This week, our Early Years students took their love of reading outdoors, celebrating World Book Day with a magical morning in Kiscelli Forest Park. Surrounded by nature, the children eagerly swapped books under the trees, discovering new stories and characters in the fresh air.
