Last week, Year 2 had a visit from dentist Dr. Helena Ndindi and dental hygienist Adél Dáko from Rozakert dental practice. They spoke to us about why we should look after our teeth and visit the dentist twice a year. They told us about how to keep our teeth healthy; by drinking only water or milk, eating healthy foods and brushing our teeth twice a day. They then showed us how to brush our teeth properly. They gave us a dental health worksheet, a sticker and a chart to log how often we brush our teeth which the children will be bringing home today. We learnt a lot and have started to make our own posters, informing others of how and why we should keep our teeth clean and healthy.

To thrive in a fast-moving, complex, tech-driven world, young people want more than just knowledge. It’s a message that comes through loud and clear from a new survey of more than 1,500 “Zoomers” who are on the journey from school, through university to the job market.
As Season 2 comes to a close, we are incredibly proud of the dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship demonstrated by our student-athletes across Middle School and High School.
This week, Year 3 students showcased their writing skills by completing their Hot Write task, where they presented a balanced argument on a topic of their choice.
Our students recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in ‘Young Voices for a Sustainable Future’, a collaborative initiative aimed at raising awareness about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) led by Ms Blanka Lango and Ms Pooja Arora.
