Early Years Easter Project In the Early Years Yellow group, we have been working on a very special Easter project. We have been making ‘hímes tojás’ or decorated eggs in celebration of Easter.

In the Early Years Yellow group, we have been working on a very special Easter project. We have been making ‘hímes tojás’ or decorated eggs in celebration of Easter.

The students were very excited to be involved in each step of the process, from carefully removing the contents of the eggs to creating a beautiful design to stain the eggshell. Their favourite part of the process was using a candle and a special tool to meltdown beeswax and draw a careful design onto the eggshell. Many students loved this project so much that they excitedly asked to create multiple eggs each morning!
