Year 7 have been looking at habitats, food chains and food webs. To demonstrate their understanding, they were tasked with making a 3-D diorama of a habitat of their choice.
The only requirement was that they had at least six animals. As well as making the model, they had to put together the food chain - or the more complicated food web - of their chosen habitat to show the movement of energy and the producers and consumers in the system.
The results showed not only their understanding but their artistic talents as well.
