Over the next six school weeks, Mr Hogan and the Maths team will be delivering a Parent Academy session for every year group. In these meetings, we will explain the calculation methods (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) that each year group teaches and how these methods are progressed from the start of the year through to the end.
Here are all the dates for the Parent Academy sessions for each year group:
Year 3: Friday 4th of March at 11:00
Year 1: Friday 18th of March at 11:00
Year 2: Friday 25th of March at 11:00
Year 4: Friday 1st of April at 11:00
Year 5: Friday 8th of April at 11:00
Year 6: Friday 29th of April at 11:00
The Zoom link to access these meetings will be emailed to you at the beginning of the week that your child’s year group meeting is scheduled for. Looking forward to seeing you all online in the coming weeks.

Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
