Year 7 Model Firecrackers To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Year 7 learnt a little about ancient Chinese inventions.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Year 7 learnt a little about ancient Chinese inventions. They discussed the invention of gunpowder and fireworks and then made some model firecrackers to learn about the culture associated with the event. It was also a great opportunity for some of the students to share their own culture with the rest of the group.
