The Tanzania club has been a big part of my CAS journey. Not only has it been a treasured experience, I've also learnt a lot and had some great memories along the way. I explored the culture in Tanzania and tried to raise more awareness in our school community.
Recently, we held a bake sale to celebrate International Day. During the preparation, everyone was so enthusiastic and engaging as we were all looking forward to our first fundraiser of the year! Baking cakes, making posters, decorating tables and promoting the sale, every step was done with passion and excitement. Through our collaborative work, we had an extremely successful fundraising event. It was so popular that we sold out of everything during lunch break! As well as the delicious desserts, we also offered Tanzanian cookbooks.
These amazing booklets allow you to make fascinating discoveries at home with your family and friends. We were both surprised and proud that we raised 74,785 HUF, all of which was donated to the school project organised by Seaway Tanzania.
