As part of their ongoing topic on Particles and Separation Techniques, Year 7 took a look into chromatography. In simple terms, this is the separation of the individual colours in inks using water. The finished results were then laminated to make some colourful bookmarks!

Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
