Year 7 students continued their studies on the behaviour of particles, using food to show how temperature affects the rate of diffusion.
Three water baths were set up at different temperatures and cubes of jelly (Jello for our American cousins!) were put into a beaker of water. The students then observed how the heat of the water affected how quickly the jelly cubes dissolved and spread throughout the liquid.
