Year 10 had a fantastic trip out on Monday to the Bükkös-patak stream near Szentendre as part of the geography iGCSE course. Students efficiently measured all the dimensions of the river at four sites and recorded velocity without losing any of the floatation devices!
We have since followed up our investigation by collating and interpreting the data. This experience will be invaluable in the examination next year. A wonderful day out in nature, lovely weather and a welcome relief from the summer heat next to a shady stream.
