For a final hands-on task in their Energy unit, Year 7 made solar ovens to show how the energy from the sun can easily be harnessed to cook food. It was a little cool outside, but we did start to see signs of eggs being cooked and chocolate being melted.

Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
