Last week we held our first Shakespeare Festival – Shakesfest! which saw all of Year 7 participating in celebrating the bard. Students worked collaboratively and creatively over several weeks to produce and perform condensed versions of Macbeth, The Tempest, and Romeo and Juliet using much of the original dialogue and adding their own contemporary twists.
This week in Year 1 we enjoyed a presentation from Mr. Brown about African animals. We learned so much about many African animals including different types of antelopes, big cats, elephants, buffalo and snakes. We were fascinated to hear about the fearless honey badger.

Mini Change makers and our Senior Change Maker Ambassadors are proud to announce the completion of our sustainable herb and sensory garden. Our Change Maker Ambassador students were successful in obtaining a 'Rewilding Grant' from Nord Anglia Education. The designated land has only a little sunlight and the soil was poor quality making it difficult for things to grow in.
We had a fabulous sunny day last Saturday with over 300 children and many parents attending the family day, visiting the stalls prepared by all their year groups as well as social impact groups. Thank you to all the helpers!
In Year 7, students are having fun with digital art inspired by the De Stijl movement, learning about artists such as Piet Mondrian.
Early Years children and students in Year 1 and 2 are given three meals a day to help them develop healthy eating habits, as the foundations for this can be laid at an early age.
The Year 11 Final Day was on Wednesday 24th of April. Students were allowed to wear casual clothing for the day and encouraged to be brightly dressed to match the theme of the school disco!
From 6th to 10th May, our Year 9 students embarked on a remarkable journey of service-learning, dedicating their time and efforts to contribute to the betterment of our community, particularly focusing on Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing.
As the International Family Day Fair is coming up on 25th May, we are diligently preparing our stand and gearing up to make this a memorable event for everyone.
