The BISB Robotics Team DIVE&CLEAN formed by Laura Ivánka (Year 8) and her sister Lizanna Ivánka (Year 3) won the prestigious 2nd prize at RoboCup European Championship in Hannover, Germany. The team mentor is Mr. Joseph Majoros from BISB Creative Robotics Club.

Spinach, a vegetable that often divides opinions, has a surprising versatility. At school lunches, our spinach dishes, loved by both students and teachers, showcase this adaptability. 

This week has seen the conclusion of the nominations of the new PTA Core Group. As the positions were uncontested, the candidates were appointed and will start meeting next week to put together a plan for the next academic year.

As part of Nord Anglia Education (NAE), one of the world’s leading international schools groups, The British International School Budapest is proud to have Hanna Komáromi in Year 12 attending this year’s NAE-UNICEF Student Summit, hosted for the first time ever in Houston, Texas.

Last term Year 5 had the exciting opportunity to be part of the 2024 Juilliard Film Music Project. This was open to all Nord Anglia schools around the world and was a fantastic way for the children to explore the world of film music and demonstrate their creativity.

As the year draws to a close, and to follow up on my piece last week where we bid farewell to our leaving teachers, I would like to introduce those teachers joining our community.

This year has been very productive and prosperous for Senior Changemakers. After implementing monthly newsletter articles informing the school community about updates in this CCA, we have worked hard on continuing, finishing, and creating new projects.

On 3^rd March, the Global Campus Digital Habitat Competition was launched, giving students the opportunities to work collaboratively with other students to create a habitat for an endangered animal on the platform Minecraft.
