The much anticipated and twice postponed performance of Journey's End finally took place this week. Deftly directed by Mr. Kirk Wootton, soldiers' lives in the trenches of the First World War, were made vivid and poignant through the exceptional acting from the cast of students from Years 10, 11 and 12.
Year 5 finished their 'Healthy Habits' topic with a fun-filled day of health-related activities.
Year 13 have been moving through their final unit on Organic Chemistry and performed a practical to extract limonene from, you’ve guessed it, oranges.
Year 11 have been looking at exothermic and endothermic reactions (exo- giving out energy or endo- taking in energy - usually heat).
World Book Day is designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading and is marked in over 100 countries around the globe.
Journey's End will now be performed on Monday and Tuesday, 13th & 14th February at 6:00pm.
Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
