We visited the Benedict Abbey in Pannonhalma. Medieval Christian Literature is a part of the year 10 curriculum, so we went to the first Hungarian monastery, and learned about the monks’ lives. In the huge library, we were astonished by the beauty of hand-written and illustrated books as well as an abundance of codexes.
