I think in carrying out the IB curriculum I feel better prepared for the independent tasks I will have to complete at university. For example the support and guidance received by St Andrews when completing our perilous IAs
What have you learned from IBDP?
What the IBDP has taught me most is that time management is key, don't let deadlines scare you as long as you stay ahead of them!
Your plans for university or after graduation?
For university I am headed to New York City to study photography. It's very exciting and only slightly terrifying but I am sad to be moving on from St Andrews.
Favourite memory from STA?
In all honesty it is hard to pick just one memory! Although my time here was short it is packed full with fun moments such as international day, karaoke and spirit week. There is never a dull moment at St Andrews.
Any advice for students going into IB or Year 12s?
Get it all done in year 12 if you can!!! Other than that, stay strong for one last final push and your last years at school :)

Saturday night’s Graduation of the Class of 2023 was a lovely evening, celebrating the end of their St Andrews journey for 100 Year 13 students, along with their families and their teachers.
Sali will be majoring in Arts and Sciences at Maxwell School and received a total of USD 40,000 scholarship.
My university plans for after graduation consist of studying Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) at the University of Amsterdam. To receive this offer, I had to get through several rounds of admissions such as an essay, a financial and study plan, a test and an interview, which results in only 200 applicants being selected amongst the thousands of applications.
