It all starts in our local communities, where Nord Anglia schools work closely with local charity and NGO partners to focus on important causes. We want our students to experience first-hand the challenges communities often face tackling issues, and to understand how to influence and drive change as individuals and as part of bigger teams, too.
These experiences help our students develop resilience, teamwork and the creativity to think ‘outside of the box’ — important skills they’ll need in the future workplace. We also encourage our students to deliver meaningful change through local outreach activities, including our Share A Dream programme which teaches social responsibility through fundraising and volunteering about issues that students truly care about.
Every year, St Andrews Bangkok students support local causes tackling the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. In the last year alone, our students:
- Volunteered over 643 hours for local community projects
- Raised $140,273 for local charities.
