STEP 2: ST ANDREWS’ ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW
Older students will be invited to sit an age-appropriate assessment. This ensures we can meet their learning needs, and that our school is right for them.
Typically, we’ll also invite your child to a ‘taster day’. This is an opportunity for prospective students to come into school, meet their peers, and get involved in a variety of activities. Our teachers will keep an eye on how your child is doing, and we’ll share our observations with you at the end of the day.
Our assessment evaluates:

Your child’s level of English in relation to their age and curriculum stage.

Their willingness to take part in individual, group, and class activities.

Their motivation and desire to learn.

Their ability to engage with our curriculum.
