ST ANDREWS’ ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

JOIN OUR SUPPORTIVE GLOBAL COMMUNITY

St Andrews International School Bangkok is an academically non-selective school that is open to children aged 2-18. We welcome students from all backgrounds and abilities, and your child can start at any time during the academic year.

Every family’s application process is unique, so we’d encourage you to speak to our team to find out how it’ll work for you. They'll answer any questions you have about our admissions requirements and arrange a tour of our campus, either in person or online.

STEP 1: ST ANDREWS’ ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

APPLICATION FORM AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

After taking a tour, you’ll need to complete your child’s application. You’ll also need to provide some supporting documents.

Please submit:

A copy of your child’s passport or birth certificate.
Two passport photos of your child (taken within the last six months).
A copy of your passport(s) and visa(s).
Your child’s school reports from the last two years (in English).
A copy of any medical reports or a statement of special educational needs that will help us better understand your child’s needs (if applicable).
A photocopy of your House Registration (Thai nationals only).

STEP 2: ST ANDREWS’ ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW

Older students will be invited to sit an age-appropriate assessment. This ensures we can meet their learning needs, and that our school is right for them.

Typically, we’ll also invite your child to a ‘taster day’. This is an opportunity for prospective students to come into school, meet their peers, and get involved in a variety of activities. Our teachers will keep an eye on how your child is doing, and we’ll share our observations with you at the end of the day.

Our assessment evaluates:

Your child’s level of English in relation to their age and curriculum stage.
Their willingness to take part in individual, group, and class activities.
Their motivation and desire to learn.
Their ability to engage with our curriculum.

STEP 3: ST ANDREWS’ ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

OFFERING AND ACCEPTING A PLACE

All being well, we’ll send you a written offer of a place after your child’s assessment and/or taster day.

Once you’ve accepted our offer, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable Application and Enrolment Fee. You’ll need to do this before the deadline given to guarantee your child’s place. If these fees are not settled in this two-week period, your place may be offered to another applicant.
