It was great to see High School students returning to school after their Residential experiences at a whole host of locations within two to three hours’ drive from Bangkok. There were some tired yet happy faces, and everyone seemed to have had a great time away with their teacher and friends.
I spoke to many of the students, and also to their Heads of Year and Tutors, who were unanimous in their praise for the students throughout the week.
As I wrote last week, Residential Week is so important for the students’ personal and social development, both in the wide range of activities and the time to relax with other students and their teachers.
A huge thank you to all the High School staff who stayed with and cared for each year group during their respective Residential Trips. This coming week, the rest of Years 7, 8 and 9 will go on their Residentials, getting the chance to experience for themselves all the fun adventures which await.

We are all very excited about our upcoming Residential Weeks, with over 500 students on five different Residentials next week and over 200 students on another three Residentials the following week.
