Saint George School is open to 2 to 18-year-olds of all backgrounds and nationalities.
Schedule a tour of our campus
Start your admissions journey by arranging a tour of our campus. If you can’t make it to Santo Domingo in person, we’ll happily schedule a video call with your family. If you’d like to speak to a member of our team, you can contact us via email or by calling +1 809 562 5262. They’ll answer any questions and provide the information you need.
Application and supporting documents
Following your tour or video call, you’ll need to send us some documents. We’ll send you a link to an online folder where you can upload the files.
You’ll need to submit:
- A copy of your child’s birth certificate.
- A copy of your child’s passport.
- Six passport-sized photos of your child.
- A copy of your child’s most recent school report.
We also require prospective parents to send us the following documents:
- A copy of both parents’ identification (Dominican nationals only).
- A copy of both parents’ passports (all other nationalities).
- A recommendation letter from a parent or member of the Saint George family, or from an outstanding member of the local community in the Dominican Republic (one per family).
- An employment letter confirming the parents’ employment details. If you are self-employed or own a business, please send us a letter containing the address, telephone number, area of work, and RNC (Registro Nacional del Contribuyente), as well as copy of your Registro Mercantil.
- A letter from your bank (Dominican or international) specifying how long you have been their client.
- An official letter from your child’s previous school confirming no invoices or tuition fees are outstanding.
Finally, you’ll need to complete our application form and pay our US$75 application fee.
Please note: If you have a question about the documents we require or our application process, please speak to our admissions team.
Interview and assessment
After submitting your documents, our admissions team will invite your family to an interview. Your child will also sit an age-appropriate entrance exam.
Offering your child a place
Shortly after the interview and exam, we’ll schedule a feedback meeting with you. If everyone is happy, we’ll formally offer your child a place.
You’ll also receive an acceptance letter via email outlining the final admissions steps.
Please note: in line with Dominican Republic Ministry of Education requirements, overseas students will also need to provide evidence of their academic grades and/or reports prior to enrolment.
