The ‘Pong Mabprachan Run 2022’ hosted by Pong Subdistrict Municipality and the Pong Running For Health Club it took place at the running track around the Mabprachan Reservoir in Chonburi. You could choose to do either a 'Fun Run' of 5 kilometers or a 'Mini Marathon' of 10.5 kilometers. The event also featured a special performance by Jay Jetrin, a well known Thai singer.
We had many podium finishers from the Regents community - many congratulations to: Saoirse, Isabella, Kavin, Angelo, Lucy and Jenna for their wins but huge congratulations to everyone from our community who took part.
One of our podium finishers was Kavin, a Year 12 student who earned second place for the Mini Marathon (10.5km). Kavin is a proud member of our Regents Lions. He told us his personal best for a 10 km run is 34 minutes and 40 seconds!
Mr Karagiannis, one of our teachers, also participated in the run and was a podium finisher like Kavin. He knows Kavin very well as one of our Regents Lions Team.
At Regents, our specialist staff are experts at creating personalised support programmes for students with additional educational needs. That’s why, throughout October we are celebrating Dyslexia and ADHD Awareness Month.
