Recently, we caught up with one of our former Head Students from the Class of 2019, Surotama.
Surotama told us, “I’m currently completing my Economics and Accounting degree at the University of British Columbia. I’ve successfully completed my four-year undergraduate programme in Economics and I am now completing my two-year programme to become a Chartered Professional Accountant to kickstart my career!”
Surotama is currently living in Vancouver, Canada and her favourite thing about living there is the community and nature she is constantly surrounded by! Surotama lives in the heart of the campus with all her friends and loves living there.
Surotama is taught by professors who actively work and advise on international scales and for her current Accounting programme, she can apply all her previous knowledge and experience in economics and real-life business.
The University of British Colombia is traditionally a popular choice for our students and we are so pleased that Regents set Surotama up for the future. Her favourite memories of Regents are the Outdoor Education weeks and her adventures all over Thailand. Surotama hopes to become a Chartered Professional Accountant in the public practice or finance sector in the next few years.
