On Wednesday 23 January, the Whole School student and parent community came together to celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day at Regents.
This is an annual event; which starts off with speeches from the Head Students, followed by the children giving flowers to teachers and staff members - a twist on the traditional Thai ‘Wai Khru’ ceremony of paying respects to your educators.
Later in the day our wonderful Parent Supporters Group (PSG) helped to organise a special buffet lunch in all 3 staff rooms. Teachers and staff were surprised with a delicious spread of international dishes, which just goes to show the wonderful mix of nationalities and cultural diversity represented within our school community. From sushi, to pasta, curries, salads, fried rice, sandwiches and a whole lot of dessert to follow; our teachers and staff were truly spoilt for choice.
We must thank the PSG and all of our parents for continuing to support us and for helping us make Regents a great place for your children to learn and grow up to become ambitious!
At Regents, our specialist staff are experts at creating personalised support programmes for students with additional educational needs. That’s why, throughout October we are celebrating Dyslexia and ADHD Awareness Month.
